Python 3.14 is the latest version of your favourite programming language. Come and hear about some of the exciting things available when you upgrade. I'll talk about some of the even newer things set for release in Python 3.15 this October. And I'll also tell about the release cycle and how you can help us test out the pre-releases.

Hugo van Kemenade is a Python core developer and the release manager for Python 3.14 and the next one. He maintains open-source projects such as Pillow, is a PSF Fellow and PEP editor, and organiser of NaNoGenMo, Helsinki Python and PyData Helsinki. As a Sovereign Tech Fellow, he's lucky to work on maintaining critical digital infrastructure full-time. Hugo lives in Helsinki and sometimes cycles on the frozen sea.
