In this workshop we will explore how to use open source technologies like PyTorch and OpenAI to implement image recognition applications using Python User-Defined Functions and Streamlit in Snowflake.
In this workshop we will explore how to use open source technologies like PyTorch and OpenAI to implement image recognition applications using Python User-Defined Functions and Streamlit in Snowflake.
During this hands-on session, you'll learn how to:
- Set up your favorite IDE (e.g. Jupyter, VS Code) for Snowpark for Python and ML
- Use MobileNet V3 implementation of PyTorch in Snowpark for Python
- Create and register Python User-Defined Functions (UDFs) that uses the pre-trained model for inference
- Create Streamlit web applications that use the UDF for prediction on new images
